The Journey
Wow, the journey has been great. Learning, and teaching has givin me a different perspective on game dev. Its been a bit over a year since i started with the Unity Engine for Jurassic Extinction. I was working on dino animation tonight, and i thought of my latest post. Heres a SS of the 1st version of JE, and a SS from current build, what a difference, lol.
Its amazing how far ive come, the lessons learned, and taught. Thank you all, for any interrest in the journey ๐


GFX Update
Ive pretty much finished camera effects and shaders. Below is a shader comparison SS, big difference. Heres the effects combo i use:
Beautify:
- Sharpen
- Tonemapping
- Bloom
- Sunflares
- Eye Adaptation
- Vignett
PPEv2.0:
- Ambient Occlution
- Auto Exposure
The Beautify effects/shader is better due to having more options. Use this combo in built-in renderer, and watch your game transform. So yes, ive beefed up the gfx, as i said i would. For built-in renderer, its damn good. Lighting and shadows are nextย ๐
